Add thinly sliced kingfish sashimi to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavours to infuse into the fish.

Once marinated, gently toss the kingfish with finely chopped coriander and thinly sliced shallots. Serve the sashimi on a platter, garnished with lime wedges and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes for an extra layer of flavour.
