Creamy Zesty Wasabi Mustard Seafood Sauce
A silky, tangy sauce that perfectly balances the heat of wasabi with the mellow bite of Dijon mustard and a creamy finish. This versatile seafood companion delivers a vibrant kick with every drizzle, transforming your dish into a culinary delight.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Heavy cream
- 15 ml Wasabi paste
- 15 ml Dijon mustard
- 60 ml Seafood stock
- 5 ml Lemon juice
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
Instructions:

1 Blend the Base
- In a small bowl, mix the wasabi paste, Dijon mustard and lemon juice until well combined.

2 Heat the Liquid
- Pour the seafood stock into a saucepan and warm it over a medium heat until it begins to simmer gently.

3 Combine Cream and Mixture
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream gradually. Then, add the pre-mixed wasabi-mustard blend, stirring continuously.

4 Simmer to Perfection
- Allow the sauce to simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so it thickens slightly. Season with salt and a pinch of black pepper.
