Ingredients:

Instructions:

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Heat olive oil in a large pot, add chopped garlic and a pinch of hot pepper flakes, sautéing briefly to release the flavours.

2 Cook the Fish
Add basa fillets cut into chunks and sauté for about one minute, then pour in dry white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly reduced.

3 Simmer with Tomato and Herbs
Stir in tomato passata, water, oregano, and basil, and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 30 minutes until the fish is tender and the soup thickens slightly.

4 Serve
Adjust seasoning with salt, stir in chopped fresh parsley, and serve over grilled or plain thick slices of Italian bread.
