Golden Baked Cod Fingers Recipe
Light, crispy crumb, and juicy cod cooked to golden perfection in the oven – way healthier than deep-fried! A squeeze of lemon or their favourite dipping sauce is all it takes to turn dinnertime into a fishy fiesta your little ones will love!
Ingredients:
- 500g cod fillets
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups panko breadcrumbs
- Olive oil spray
Instructions:

1 Prepare the Cod
Cut cod fillets into finger-sized pieces and season lightly with salt. This preparation should take about 5 minutes.

2 Coat the Cod
Dip each piece first in flour, then beaten eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs. Spend about 5 minutes on this step to ensure even coating.

Arrange on a greased baking sheet and bake at 220°C until golden and crispy, which will take about 12-15 minutes.
