Fish Fillets with Strawberry Salsa
A vibrant, modern twist on a coastal classic. Delicate fish fillets are pan-seared to perfection and crowned with a tangy strawberry salsa that bursts with fresh, summery flavours. Each bite delivers a refreshing medley of sweet, spicy, and citrus notes, making it an irresistible dish for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 600 g Fish fillets
- 30 mL Olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
- 200 g Strawberries (diced)
- 1 small Red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 small Red chilli (deseeded and finely diced)
- 30 mL Lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Fresh mint (chopped)
Instructions:

1 Prepare the Fish
- Pat the fish fillets dry using a paper towel. Drizzle with olive oil and season evenly with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2 Make the Strawberry Salsa
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, finely chopped red onion, and red chilli. Add the lime juice and sprinkle with chopped mint. Stir gently to mix all flavours together.

3 Cook the Fish
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Place the fillets in the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the fish turns golden and flakes easily with a fork.

- Transfer the cooked fish to serving plates and generously spoon the strawberry salsa over the top. Serve immediately for the best flavour and texture.
