Grilled Yellowfin Bream with Fresh Vietnamese Salad Recipe
This vibrant dish pairs perfectly grilled yellowfin bream with a refreshing Vietnamese-style salad, bursting with fresh herbs, crisp vegetables, and a tangy dressing. Ingredients:
- 2 whole yellowfin bream, cleaned
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 100g bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup Thai basil leaves
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
Instructions:

1 Prepare the Salad
Thinly slice cucumber, carrot, and red onion. Mix with bean sprouts, mint, coriander, and Thai basil. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and chilli to make the dressing.

Rub the yellowfin bream with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill on high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
