Zesty Steamed Cod with Lime and Garlic Recipe
This refreshing steamed cod dish brings together the vibrant flavours of lime, garlic, and chilli for a light yet flavour-packed meal. The tanginess of lime pairs perfectly with the mildness of the cod, while the garlic and chilli add an aromatic kick. It's a healthy and quick option for a seafood meal, ideal for summer days or whenever you're craving something zesty.
Ingredients:
- 500g cod fillets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chillies, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Fresh coriander, for garnish
- Jasmine rice, for serving
Instructions:

1 Prepare the cod and sauce
lace the cod fillets on a heatproof plate. In a bowl, mix lime juice, fish sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and sliced chillies until well combined.

2 Steam the cod
Pour half of the lime-garlic sauce over the cod. Steam the fish for 10-12 minutes, or until fully cooked and flaky.

Drizzle the remaining sauce over the steamed cod. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with jasmine rice.
