Tobiko Rice Bowl with Savoury Toppings Recipe
This Tobiko Rice Bowl is a vibrant and flavourful dish that features the delightful crunch and briny taste of tobiko (flying fish roe). Paired with a variety of savoury toppings, this dish is a textural delight and a feast for the senses, offering a perfect balance of umami and freshness.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups short-grain rice
- 4 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 100g tobiko (flying fish roe)
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 sheet nori, shredded
- 100g soy-marinated beef or cooked vegetables (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
