Butter-Garlic Lobster Tails with Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe
This butter-garlic lobster tail recipe is a luxurious seafood dish infused with delicate flavours of ginger and soy. Inspired by Chinese cuisine and crafted with an Australian touch, this recipe is perfect for a special dinner or when you want to impress your guests with minimal effort and maximum flavour.
Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails (about 150 g each)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, julienned
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Spring onions, sliced, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:

1 Prepare the Lobster Tails
Split the lobster tails in half lengthwise. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium heat with butter and oil. Sear the lobster tails, flesh side down, until slightly golden, then turn and baste with the butter mixture.

Plate the lobster tails, drizzle generously with the ginger soy sauce, and garnish with spring onions and a squeeze of lemon. Serve with steamed rice or sautéed greens for a complete meal.
