Mediterranean Cod Soup Recipe

  • 500g cod fillets, cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 celery sticks, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 800g canned tomatoes
  • 150ml white wine
  • 1 litre vegetable or fish stock
  • Handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced


  1. Season the Cod

    Marinate cod chunks in cumin, coriander, and paprika.

    In a large pot, sauté onions, red bell pepper, celery sticks, and garlic cloves in olive oil until softened. Then add canned tomatoes, white wine, and vegetable stock and bring to a simmer.
