This honey garlic salmon is a delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner. Enjoy this flavorful dish with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Ingredients:

  • 340 g salmon
  •  black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbs water
  • 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  •  lemon wedges, for serving
  •  chopped parsley, for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Season the Salmon:

    Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.

  2. Cook the Salmon:

    • Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down if they have skin. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness.
    • Remove the salmon fillets from the pan and set them aside on a plate
  3.  Sauté Garlic:

    In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until slightly browned.

  4. Prepare the Sauce:

    • Add honey, water, apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice), and soy sauce to the pan. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
    • Return the salmon fillets to the pan. Cook in the sauce for another 1-2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon to enhance the flavour.
  5. Serve:

    Serve the salmon fillets with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley.
