Honey Garlic Salmon
This honey garlic salmon is a delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for a quick and healthy dinner. Enjoy this flavorful dish with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Ingredients:
- 340 g salmon
- black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbs water
- 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- lemon wedges, for serving
- chopped parsley, for garnishing
Instructions:

1 Season the Salmon:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.

2 Cook the Salmon:
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down if they have skin. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness.
- Remove the salmon fillets from the pan and set them aside on a plate

3 Sauté Garlic:
In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until slightly browned.

4 Prepare the Sauce:
- Add honey, water, apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice), and soy sauce to the pan. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Return the salmon fillets to the pan. Cook in the sauce for another 1-2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon to enhance the flavour.

5 Serve:
Serve the salmon fillets with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley.
